My Trip to Paris

I'm back!

Sorry I've been a little MIA the last few weeks. College was taking over my life the past few weeks, but now I can finally get back to blogging again!
Over the Easter, myself and the boyfriend went on a little trip to Paris. It was my first time in France and I absolutly loved it, I'd go back there in a heartbeat. We stayed for a long weekend and we will definately go back to Paris again and stay for much longer to get a better taste of the city. Here are some of the pictures from our trip...

We arrived super early in Paris on Sunday morning. We headed straight to our hotel, Hotel de la Port Doree to drop off our luggage. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. It is just outside the centre of the city, easily to get to with the Metro and is a beautiful little hotel.  We went to grab a quick bite at the local bakery and went for a stroll in a local park. We then went sightseeing to the Eiffel Tower and we strolled down to the Lourve. After working up an appetite sight seeing, we had a delicious traditional French dinner in the Latin Quarter followed by some cocktails in a nearby piano bar.

We got some truely delicous pastries from the bakeries for breakfast every morning. Seriously, you havn't tasted a pastry until you have tasted one in France! They are without a doubt the best I've ever tried.

On Monday, we decided to be a typical cheesy couple and visit the lock bridge. Finding a spot for our lock was a challenge to say the least! We went on a relaxing boat ride along the river Seine followed by dinner again at the Latin Quarter. After dinner we had a stroll over to Notre Dame. This is absolutley worth seeing at night.

On our last day we visited the Musée d'Orsay. After a long queue we finally got inside. The photo on the right is from the Lourve museum.

So there is our trip to Paris. I would love to go back again to see more of the city, especially to see the Palace of Versailles.

Till next time,
