So...? Fragrance Review

Hello Everyone!

I feel like I've been sent back to the 90s when I smell the scent of So...? fragrances. So...? Fragrance have been in business for 20 years and are available in over 30 countires worldwide. They have a wide variety of perfumes, body sprays and gift sets available as well as a dry shampoo range. I love trying fresh new scents especially budget friendly fragrances that are easier on your purse. I like to use the eau de toilette when I'm at home and bring the body spray with me in my handbag to use during the day.

I was sent the scents So...? Kiss me, Sexy and For Me from the lovely people at So...?
So...? Kiss me* was my signature scent in my early teens and it brings back so many memories. So...? says it has "sugary notes of blackcurrent and citrus revel layers of kissably sweet vanilla with a floral heart rounded by musk". I love wearing this scent, it's an oldie but a goodie for me!

So...? Sexy* is truely a more seductive scent that I would wear at night. This scent has top notes of mandarin and blackcurrent, heart notes of rose and jasmine and base notes of  sandlewood and musk. I definately think this is a statement scent for any night out.

So...? For Me* is a very sweet and floral scent. When I wear it I feel fresh and ready for the day ahead. This scent is without a doubt my favourite scent of the bunch. I think it's a very light and attractive scent. So...? says "So...? For Me is the scent to draw people closer to you! Everybody loves a confident girl who is sure of herself" Notes of orange flower, tuberose and ylang ylang come together to form a striking small!"

So...? Fragrances are available nationwide in stores such as Pennys/Primark, Boots, Superdrug and selected pharmacies.

Have you tried any So...? fragrances? Which one is your favourite?

Buff Makeup Review: Buff HD foundation, Buff Lipstick in Stripped and Buff Eyeshadow in Urban

Hey Everyone,

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to a Buff Makeup event in the lovely Westbury Hotel, Grafton Street. I had origionally heard about the brand from the amazing Tara O'Farrell . Tara is a well known and talented makeup artist, model and blogger here in Ireland.  I was excited to see Tara at the event herself. At the event we were introduced to some of the Buff products along with a demonstration on two beautiful models.

Makeup artist Jessica demonstrated how to create a dark smokey eye by smudging black kohl pencil into the lashline and blending it upwards with some black eyeshadow and finishing with a transition shade in the crease to blend the colours.

Over the past week or so I have been enjoying testing and experiementing with some product samples given to me on the night.

The first product I tried was the famous Buff HD foundation (€30) in the shade C25. I  heard to much about this product and I was more than excited to try it for myself. I was extremely pleased that this shade was a good match to my skin tone when I applied it. As I expected the product blended effortlessly into my skin and it had a lovely lightweight feel. The product has a sheer, dewy finish and looks like you are glowing from within. Unfortunately I have oily skin so by the end of the day my face was a little oily, as I was expecting. Personally I prefer an ultra matte finish to my foundation because of my skintype. However I would recommend this foundation to anyone with normal or dry skin types for a flawless and glowing complexion.

The next product I tried was Buffs Eyeshadow in Urban (€15). This shade is the perfect crease or transition shade for any look to create some definition to the eye. The shadow is highly pigmented and blends easily. Thats all you need right? This is my fav product from the samples I've tried and I've used it countless times since I got it. LOVE!

Last up is Buffs Lipstick in Stripped (€18). This is a nude shade with a sheer finish that feels soft and velvety on the lips. This would go perfectly with a dark smokey eye, or any look for that matter.

Overall I'm very impressed with these products and I would most certainly love to try some more. I have my eye on the Sheer Glo Illumination Lotion and the blushers. I'll add them to my shopping list!
